Greenville Park-N-Ride

Brought to you by:
(Maine ATV Clubs Club)

It had to happen, eventually. A Park N Ride for Greenville ATV’rs etc... With all the trail development, and in town business access accomplishments made by the local club it was inevitable that the town fathers would come to realize that a trailhead for parking and riding from in this area would indeed help to support the increase in atv activity  in this region. Thus the development of a park and ride in Greenville Jct. on Depot Street has come to be. The local club (Moosehead ATV Riders) help to develop this site, which includes a loading ramp onto/off of the old turn table. Here is some great history going to good use with this piece of property recently purchased by the town. With a little gravel and grading the old train turntable works great as a loading and unloading facility. Also informational signs have been posted at various locations informing users of how to use the facility. They also have provided a place to dispose of returnable’s and trash. (Great forethought here.) Here is another great example of what can be accomplishment when users, town officials and business work together.
Good for them…………………………..

Park-N-Ride is located in Greenville Jct.. As you come into Greenville from the South take a left onto Prithim Ave and head West to the Jct. It's about a mile. After going under the railroad overpass overpass you turn left onto Depot Street to the South and the Park-N-Ride will be on your right about 1000ft down the street. If you can't find it stop into Breton's Store in the Jct., they have free atv info. From the West, Rockwood/Jackman, when coming down the hill at the Jct. go straight pass Breton's and the laundry, again trailhead is on the right. Enjoy the ride.
